Shots have been fired in a Munich shopping centre and a major police operation is under way German media is reporting.
Reports say the area round the shopping centre in the district of Moosach has been sealed off, but details of the incident are sketchy.
The security forces have been on alert after a migrant stabbed five people on a train in Bavaria on Monday.
The authorities had warned of the danger of further attacks.

Ok. If witness reports are accurate...something isn’t adding up.
But, I expect they’re keeping as much quiet as they can for now.
I haven’t seen a rifle yet in any photos or video of shooter.

A hunt is under way in the German city of Munch after at least one shooter opened fire at the Olympia shopping centre.
Several people are believed to have been killed, a Munich police spokeswoman said.
The city transit system has been shut down and people are asked to avoid public places.
“At the moment no culprit has been arrested” and “the search is taking place at high speed”, Munich police said on social media.
Police said witnesses reported seeing three different people with guns near the Olympia Einkaufszentrum mall.
Police spokesman Thomas Baumann told German news agency dpa the attack started at a fast food restaurant in the mall shortly before 18:00 local time.
Public broadcaster Bayrischer Rundfunk reported that shops in the centre of Munich had closed with customers inside.

Same here the guy outside McDonalds did not have a long gun, and neither did the guy on the roof.
The German people were rightly condemned for their support of Hitler but the post-war experience replaced the Prussian martial spirit with a neutered people. They seem to no longer have the basic instinct for self-preservation.
