My take on Cruz from a previous post if you didn’t see it...

Cruz’s performance Wednesday night was all about 2020. He stayed as long as he could in front of the cameras and lights all for the sake of 2020. His appearance had nothing to do with the 2016 election except possibly he wouldn’t mind seeing the election thrown to Hillary if he thought that would increase his chances in 2020.

There are certain people I will automatically turn off when they appear on TV. Cruz is now one of them. I used to think maybe he was OK. But as of now, I can’t stand the guy, at least as far as his political aspirations or public persona goes. When he talks, his words sound tinny and hollow to me - nothing solid, no ring of authenticity. Last night was no exception.

I just read a short biography on Benedict Arnold. What came through was a fatal flaw that Arnold’s personal ambition was more important than the lofty goals he was supposed to be fighting for. That’s Ted Cruz. Cruz supposedly stands for constitutional freedom but he’s shown me he puts his own political ambition and future first. In that sense, Ted Cruz is a Benedict Arnold as far as I’m concerned.

Someone said Cruz thinks he’s Reagan in 1976. Apparently his dad and apparently Cruz himself, think that Cruz has some sort of Divine Right to become President. I think they’re both off the rails.

Newt Gingrich generously assumed the role of played elder statesman and took time out his own personal convention speech to unselfishly (and spot on accurately, BTW) “clarify” Cruz's ill advised “vote your conscience” statement with a brilliant, off the cuff interpretation of Cruz's words as a de facto and very powerful endorsement of Donald Trump and also as an indictment of Hillary Clinton.

Newt Gingrich held out an olive branch with a big fat white dove perched on it to Ted Cruz and all Ted had to do to grab that branch was confirm Newt's endorsement spin on his speech and it would have been a PR drama home run that would have helped Trump, Cruz, the Republican Party down ticket and ultimately the American people.

Team trump made the gesture and Cruz spurned it to the detriment of all, especially us, the American people.

Cruz needs to go far away and spend some quiet time wandering in the wilderness to contemplate and reflect on his attempted sabotage of Donald Trump and the entire Republican Convention ,Republican Party and how it has damaged the American people he claims to represent.

“Nobody cares what Ted Who? has to say.”

If no one cares, why are we still talking about him?

Donald. Please keep your eye on the ball. Are you capable of that?

Ever step on a roach and it keeps running. I don't think if radiation would stop the Croach.

Calm down. Someone asked him and he gave an honest response. He’s kept his mouth shut about Cruz for months now.

This is over

Not until everyone who was a partner to Cruz's nasty schemes is terrified of what Trump will do to them if they don't keep their distance from Cruz.

No we have never seen any documentation that would make him a US citizen.
At this point, I’m not sure he is a citizen at all.
If he renounced his Canadian citizenship and he has no claim to US citizenship, he might just be a man without a country, literally.

“PLEASE let this be over!”

It’s not over, in Cruz’s terms.

Jimmy....you are not going to make the same mistake that virtually every pundit and out of work campaign adviser have made ...are you? Trump is creaming the competition and will be 17-0 in 3 months and 3 weeks. He has uncanny instincts and just drips leadership.

Someone asked him and he gave an honest response.

Not true! I watched that news conference, “he had to tell the real story”. Trump brought it up. In the new conference,he brought up Kasich. He brought up Cruz. He cannot get over it! Get over it!

Cruz made an a$$ of himself. Let it be.

After the fabulous week we had, Trump needs to just be humble and grateful.

Frankly I'm tired of the unproductive rabid tirades directed toward Cruz.

Trump won, Cruz lost.

Trump needs to move on as to many Freepers.

The best way for Trump and Freepers to deal with any feelings of betrayal and desire for vengeance is to simply make good on his promise to "Make America Great Again"!

If you’re not a former Cruz supporter, you’re doing a bang up imitation of one. It’s all legalism and hair-splitting with them.

An endorsement can certainly and easily be rejected. It’s as simple as saying, ‘I reject X’s endorsement; I don’t want and will not accept an endorsement from that source.’

He’s mentioning it because he was asked about it. Additionally, there are still nevertrumpers and undecided voters who still swallow Cruz’ shtick. He has to further marginalized them. If he doesn’t, there is a chance, they could mount a write in campaign. This would hurt him in the general election.

I’ve come to realize to trust Trump’s actions. 99% of the time it is for a purpose and correct.

--Cruz will lose his senate primary over this.--

I'm planning to donate to whoever runs against him, even if it's some mushy moderate member of the Bush family. I want to see him reduced to taking his faux country preacher schtick and working for an ambulance chasing law firm.
