Considering the broad spectrum of issues addressed, each with reference to demonstrable--and indeed, even to the unconvinced on any item, certainly arguable--factual narratives; the collusion as to the "dark" adjective certainly reveals a lot about the Leftist mentality.

Of course, it is no secret at Free Republic, that Leftist media types, as Leftist academic types, simply cannot handle reality. Reality is perceived as the enemy. And it is in that bizarre perception that we have them. The counter to their fantasy world must always put observable reality into play. (It is like using garlic or a crucifix against a vampire.) Always work observable reality into the argument; and watch them cringe, trying to escape it.
