Agree. He definitely has a messianic personality.

We already have someone in high office who exhibits that trait and we’ve seen the consequences. We don’t need another person like that.

He could have never won the general election, even if he had become the nominee. It would have been the biggest Republican loss in history. He has no appeal beyond a certain mindset, and his religious stance (which I like when genuine - but Cruz comes off as a phony) would have brought out Democrats in full force.
