Forget the non endorsement, that’s not the issue. Senator Cruz had a remarkable opportunity, he blew it. Cruz accepted an invitation to speak to the GOP convention then insulted the audience. Cruz couldn’t rise above his own brutal ego and petty selfishness. The arrogance simply went too far, he humiliated himself in front of millions.

Cruz whiffed.
A year ago, he was one of the only 3 people I said I could support and vote for... and of the 3 he was the only current sitting politician, I felt I could support. Now a year later, I have realized he is a typical lying politician and I would not vote for him for dog catcher!
The Puma Democrats of 08 had nothing on Cruz.

Normally one would, but during the campaign she exposed herself as a Republican Hillary Clinton, talking about how “we” decided to run for president and the things that “we” would do once elected. She was also his chief fundraiser. She was as much in this as he was, for sure.

Levin has answered that many times on his show: he doesn't care (or claims not to care). If he truly doesn't care about the size of his listenership then he will wander in the wilderness. In that case he intends to watch Trump fail spectacularly, watch America elect Hugo Chavez, watch a decade or two of chaos, perhaps civil war, then recovery based on the Constitution or a new constitution.
I think those are all low probability events chained together and America's enemies will take advantage of the chaos and with dire results for the free world. I prefer to be much more optimistic and believe that Trump can fend off the leftist attacks and most of the leftist influences and give conservatives some room to recover and fertilize conservatism in the roots of the grass and establish a viable conservative alternative.
America can become great again much more easily than we can cut the government back to size, implement conservative policies that are impossible with large entrenched liberal government. Levin is right about one thing, the size and scope of federal power is our biggest problem. We don't fully know what we will get in that regard with Trump but it is realistic to be optimistic at this point.

Yesterday, my wife and I saw two bumper stickers on a new Honda Civic that may confirm your reply.
On the left side of the rear bumper was a Clinton for Prison sticker and on the right side was a Sanders sticker.
Makes one wonder how many Sanders’s supporters feel that way!
