A billboard in Indiana has caused some controversy in the wake of the high-profile police killings and officer-involved shooting deaths of African-American men.
The electronic billboard in Muncie caught the eyes of plenty of people around the town Saturday and one person described it as vulgar and discriminatory. It read Hate cops? The next time you need help call a crackhead.
Megan Thomas told The Star Press on Sunday that she noticed the sign while walking with her niece. She said she was offended by the message, which she alleged was "vulgar, discriminatory to many different classes of people in our city. She said it also seemed to have been up ahead of a police brutality protest.
"I was very ashamed that something so dividing was present in Muncie," she added.

The truth hurts.
I get the sentiment but that liquor store is going to get robbed and burnt down now.
If you want to help and show support, don’t take food to the station, don’t put stuff on your car or house making yourself a target.
Call your congress critter and demand that they spend emergency funding out of reserves if necessary to outfit each and every officer with a level IV vest.
Wow. Crackheads are their own race now. Just like Muslims.
“...discriminatory to many different classes of people in our city...”
Especially all those nice crackheads.
That’s on Wheeling Avenue along the White River. I drive by it a lot, will have to look for it.
Muncie is home to Ball State U. so we have a few Berzerkly-wannabe academic snowflakes.
When Ball State played Morehead U. last October, at half-time the crowd shared a cigarette.
Thank you, yes it was good for me, you were a great crowd too.
Telling little truths here and there causes big-time controversy and Leftist ‘poutrage’.
What a great sign, wish there was one in my neighborhood.
It is “vulgar and discriminatory” because liberals believe all Negroes to be crackheads and stupid, people who have tobe protected by liberals because they are too stupid to make it in the modern world without liberal help.
If Megan Thomas had the slightest clue how many people are offended by her own message, perhaps she might be less inclined to shoot her fascist mouth off.
Hey Megan - you're wrong. So shut up.
Not available right now. What does it say - Liberal asshole or Marxist dumbass, or both?
I don’t do Fakebook so can’t read her stuff. Is she a student? That neighborhood is mostly student rentals.
A few years ago that liquor store painted Ball State’s mascot ‘Charlie Cardinal’ on their wall, and the store got a letter from the BSU lawyer ordering them to remove it.
That might explain their ‘screw political correctness’ sign.
Frankly I don’t understand her attitude. Muncie police HQ is just a few blocks down the street. There are quite a few break-ins in student housing.
Most town people agree with sign and support the police. She can pound sand.
Kaboom. Would make a great Tagline.
Great sign!
Crackhead Ida gender choice.
Who gives a rat’s a** if crackheads are offended? This woman is either a crackhead or an idiot...or both.
