Think about this from the perspective of a DEMOCRAT OR INDEPENDENT who is on the fence and doesn't like Hillary. Would you be upset that 'extreme conservative' Cruz didn't endorse Trump? OF COURSE NOT!!!
The thing about that incident, in my opinion, is that the hug he tries to give that guy is just like the hug he tried to give to his daughter. Totally fake.

I’m willing to venture out that Cruz won’t be able to garner enough support to even think about running in 2018 after proving that promises mean nothing to him. After all, Cruz did promise to support the candidate who won the Republican nomination.....so much for that.

Husband avoids politics for the most part these days. But when the Republican candidates began announcing a year or two ago, husband looked at a few. He did not know anything about Cruz. He took one look at him, heard him say a few words, and announced, “He is unelectable.” I asked him why. He said, “His chin. His speech pattern. His eyes.” “He is untrustworthy. Americans will not vote for that.” I just looked at him like he is a little crazy. But he is almost always right.
And now here we are.
Ted Cruz just showed that Ben Carson has 1000 times more class and character than he does!
