Jamie Kirchick, writing in the Los Angeles Times, asks readers to imagine a military coup against a future President Donald Trump and argues why one would be necessary. Kirchick cites the example of the recent failed coup in Turkey as a source of inspiration: Americans viewing the recent failed coup attempt in Turkey as some exotic foreign news story the latest, violent yet hardly unusual political development to occur in a region constantly beset by turmoil should pause to consider that the prospect of similar instability would not be unfathomable in this country if Donald Trump were

Trump for President.
Sean King, the white BLM founded who identifies as black, suggested a coup when Trump wins earlier this week.
The results would be the same as in Turkey with the people in the streets. Except the American people would be shooting. I think.

Ahhh, they think Trump will win. Nice to see it in print.
This is good news! They are scared and they are losing it!

There was another administration official that said Mao’s Little Red Book was her favorite book. It’s been scrubbed from the net apparently. She was speaking at a school graduation if I remember correctly.
The article is drivel.
A coup requires a military who is against the person in charge. At 77% approval of Trump by the military, I wouldn’t bet on them being interested in a coup.
How does the military assist a group it hates? What would motivate the military to do this?
More likely against Hillary.
Do elections really matter anymore?
We should not be outraged about this.
The nation is divided into two large enemy camps with a larger majority in the middle not realizing we are in a cold war.
The question is when will this war grow hot, and which side will the middle support?
Would anybody on our side shed a tear if the LA Times and its staff cracked off the coast and fell into the Pacific?
And Turkey shows that the population doesn’t even need to be armed to stop an unpopular coup. Imagine those thousands in the streets and with arms.
They are becoming increasingly desperate. I would expect they are capable of nearly anything. Buckle-up.
The evil, racist, sexist, homophobic tools of the corporate military complex who kill minorities might actually have a use!
You baby killing bastards should take over and keep us in charge.
And we’ll thank you by putting you under the jurisdiction of world courts.
You’re welcome. :)
