Ted Cruz speaks at an event in Cleveland to thank his delegates and volunteers for their support during his 2016 primary run.
"I'll just confess I didn't have the strength to do that and not breakdown," Cruz told supporters. "And we had 50 T.V. cameras there and I tell you, I wasn't going to let those SOBs turn Lyin' Ted into Cryin' Ted."

There is another posibility too. Cruz already knows he is damaged
goods and he is using a scorched earth strategy as payback to Trump.
Cruz’s followers are lucky he’s in politics. If he leaves the Senate and he and his Dad establish a temple in Guyana, watch out!
Do honorable Christians honor their pledges, wether it is tithing to their
church or fulfilling their pledge to support the GOP nominee?
I’d really prefer Cruz be on the America first side. He gives pretty decent speeches and could be a major assets in fixing this country. It’s sad when a man lets emotion rule his life.
I am not too sure he recognizes how much damage he’s done to himself. After all, isn’t he Divinely Destined to be our leader? How in the world do you overcome that mindset? (and his fans are even crazier!)

He repeatedly led his family in filmed, faked prayers for personal benefit and dissimulation. That is mocking God and taking God’s name in vain. As head of the household, he led and taught his wife and daughters in that example of corruption. He allowed a proxy to paint him as the fulfillment of Mormon false prophecy. He allowed his mentally unstable wife to compare his botched, aspirational bid for power as the reflection of God. He does not support his church. He is a small ‘a’ antichrist, and leads like minded fools to their own measure of shared destruction. God will not bless Cruz. He will be made an example.
The 7th king has soiled his diaper. Waaaa!

He is manifestly indecent and conduit of false doctrine and prophecy.
So are some of his apologists. Political error and chicanery is one thing. Perverting the Christian message before the whole world is something else entirely. God is not mocked, and he will repay. Absent repentance, Raphael has chosen poorly.
There is nothing decent or Christian about Ted Cruz. He is a total snake.
So anyone who hasn’t received the nomination has been kicked in the ass by God? Those who don’t reach their goals are despised by God, metaphorically kicked in the ass by God Himself?

I’ve been on the receiving end of some heaven sent smack downs. After bristling and sniveling about them, it was time to sit back and wonder - why? Accept the answer, with discernment and humility, and life can get better, and the walk with God closer.
Respond with hubris and hatred, and keep widening the distance. Cruz needs intercessory prayer, difficult as that may be.
“I will say, I was watching the early part of the show, and if I were in my car getting ready to reverse and saw Donald in the backup camera, I’m not confident which pedal I’d push,” Cruz said, prompting immediate laughter from the audience.

Oh I’ve been praying for Ted Cruz, I’ve been praying that God would grab him by his lapels and shake him up enough until he realizes that he is NO ‘anointed king’ and that Glenn Beck’s Cheetos will NOT get him into the Kingdom of Heaven.
