I really don’t understand why he is being allowed to speak. Trump will carry Texas. What does a tepid speech by Cruz do for Trump?
The Never Trump attempted coup groups have now opened themselves up to no support from Trump supporters. Long standing consequences for these traitorous displays. It now goes both ways. There have been many conservatives and Republicans that have been disgusted with the spineless Republicans that are just enablers of these dangerous Dems so they wanted everyone to get on board for Romney, McCain and now pull this? We are all breathless waiting to see if Cruz can rise above himself and his self-centered ambitions. He must talk about a vision, a vision of America with Trump at the helm.

I suppose it will be similar to the endorsement that Paul Ryan gave to Trump - more implied than anything else. These guys need to man up and do the right thing and support Trump. Even Reagan did what he could to help Gerald Ford in 1976.

If Cruz won’t endorse Trump, the LEAST he can do to help him is tell his supporters to not disrupt anything, to not walk out etc. I doubt he will, as he only cares about 2020 and himself.
