He comes across as someone calm, steady and in control. He has a bit of the ‘presence’ of a military man, though I don’t think that’s in his background.
I think he was a good choice.

Luntz focus group on Hannity again. They seem to be pretty impressed with Pence.
The choice of Pence shows the brilliance of Trump and I have to say it, if anyone in the R party reminds me at all of the great RR himself, it was Pence tonight.
I knew he was a solid conservative but had never heard he was a top class speaker.
Does look like a General or something.
