We have had over 40 million LEGAL immigrants since 1965....over 80% of them vote for the demographic party. The GOP is having trouble in national elections because of this massive LEGAL, mostly third world immigration. And this idiot wants more of it.
We need the immigration laws put back in place that were in effect in 1952 when my family immigrated here. It required an American sponsor who vouchsafed he would be responsible financially for the first 5 years of said immigrant family, the immigrant had to have an offer of a job in this country before arrival, and had to be medically in tip top shape. Also the visas were set up to be basically Euro-based peoples as those numbers permitted to emigrate were apportioned by the numbers of the ancestry of Americans living in the country. Thus Britain, Germany, and other European counries had the largest visas issued for immigrants. Now visas are based on the size of the countries, leading to a lot of immigrants who arrive, don’t speak English, job offers no longer required, who instantly go on welfare and tend to stay on welfare. We need immigration reform desperately..
