I’m ok with this. There are approximately 1.6 billion muslims in the world.
This is a nod to muslims, letting them know that the war isn’t on islam, it’s on radical islam.
There really are good muslims, hard as it is to believe. Giving the good muslims confidence they’ll be accepted while taking a war footing against radical islam is rational.

My Muslim neighbor is a pediatrician. His wife is a psychiatrist. Modern thinkers both. They are people of science and I esteem that. Their sons listen to rap, have a healthy interest in Katy Perry, and hope for medical school.

Having trained a LOT of foreign officers, including quite a number from Muslim countries, I can tell you that not all of them are radical Muslims who hate the United States. I’ve known officers from Turkey, Jordan, Egypt and Tunisia who were quite proud of their countries’ relationship with the U.S. and I have local Pakistani friends who are more openly patriotic than a helluva lot of Americans.
Need to hear more of the “good Muslims” speaking out against the not good Muslims!
