Tony Schwartz Co-Author Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal,Says Trump Presidency Would Be Terrifying

Tony Schwartz, Donald Trump’s co-author on “The Art of the Deal,” admitted that he regrets writing the 1987 book and that he finds the thought of a Trump presidency “terrifying.”

So why did Schwartz keep his silence for so long?

“We had a successful experience together. I never in a million years thought he would run for president. Had I thought that 30 years ago, I wouldn’t have written the book,” he told George Stephanopoulos on ABC News’ “Good Morning America” today. “But for 29 years, I didn’t think he would, and it didn’t seem like it was important to speak out. I now feel it’s my civic duty.”

He took Trump’s money and is now biting the hand that fed him.

His mother was Felice Schwartz, a prominent writer and activist. While I'm sure many of these people are driven by what they believe is a path to social justice, I sincerely don't think they understand entirely what constitutes social justice and what doesn't. Backstabbing a man who gave you a great opportunity, and who allowed you to be a co-author instead of an unknown ghost-writer, is not social justice, and it certainly isn't emblematic of being driven by your superior conscience.

I am doing what is called work hardening. Still recovering from broken hip in January. This is two hours of yuck. One hour cardio (split between bike and tread mill) then another hour of weight lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and finally some targeted muscle strengthening.

This reminds me of David Brock, who wrote about what a fraud Anita Hill was, and then after making millions telling the world how much of a liar she and her senate democrap friends were, decided the grass was greener on the plantation.

I’m pretty sure he doesn’t care about that. He’s made his pile and is now free to pursue projects he cares more about. No writer wants to ghost for another if he has any better options.

If he had been tirelessly complaining for a few decades, that would give him some credibility.
Instead, he just crawled out of the woodwork THIRTY years after the book was written with the election upon us.
