One of Melania’s paragraphs had sentences that were word for word the same as part Michele’s speech in ‘08 at the Dem convention.
Well, I saw it in the statement. “included fragments that reflected her own thinking.”
In English, that means “copied stuff she agreed with”.
And yeah, I’ve been here fifteen years and supporting Trump so I could troll this single press statement. You found me out, Sherlock. Sheesh.
It’s going to be a long, tough campaign if we expect Trump, the Trump family and all his campaign staff and supporters to be completely original and error free.
Might be a speechwriter’s mistake. Might be intentional to generate controversy or to set a trap, Team Trump has done it before. Maybe the Mooch got it from somewhere else and they know it.
If the small passage was different enough from the Mooch speech to be beyond reasonable comparison, Trump’s side would just deny it, but they are going with the speechwriters “included fragments” angle. I’d call that a tacit admission that the lines are very similar.
Doesn’t change the fact that the future First Lady gave a terrific speech, or that the night was a refreshing, effective blow against Crooked Hillary.
I support Trump, but I don’t expect his campaign to be perfect all the time. At this point, it looks like a PR error, but Trump has survived and taken advantage of worse looking situations.

Sean Smith’s mother gave not only an emotionally decreasing speech last night it will register with voters of every walk of life because it could have just as easily been their child. Moreover, it hammered Hillary Clinton on her character which her own party of democracy voters can’t stand. What I’m seeing is typical MO from the Hillary camp: Bimbo Eruptions. Destroy Melania Trump’s speech, take the focus off Smith at any cost. This I theorize is what is truly going on. As for me, I intend to shout this till I have no voice left. It’s the least I can do for Sean Smith’s mother. Cause we all know she will never get answers from Clinton.
