Ted Cruz is expected to use his speech Wednesday night in Cleveland to tee up a future presidential bid..
Mr. Cruz blamed his defeat principally on the media, which liked to paint me as some whacked-out theocrat and putatively gave Donald Trump $3 billion in free publicity...
Fact check: Mr. Cruz won the Wisconsin primary in early April with the help of the so-called establishment that he loves to hate... in the preceding primaries, Mr. Cruz had gone one for 10..
After winning Wisconsin, Mr. Cruz went on a six-state losing streak in the Northeast...

Cruz will come out and give a victory speech.
Ted Cruz future will be based on his 15 minutes of fame at the convention.....even if nobody is there....His words will be recorded down to the meaning of what “is” is....and what it means....
Watch and see....
Apparently when Perry spoke at convention today, he did not mention Trump, so another selfish guy, like Ted seems to still be.
Even Melania had the decency to acknowledge that all who ran for Republican Nomination deserved our respect.
Famous incident of Nelson Rockefeller booed at the 1964 convention.
Sex with rats. I forgot about that.
Wisconsin. Maine. That's it. And that Maine win was kind of dicey.
Cruz lost the entire Deep South.
Cruz has some work to do.
It is the same old thing from Cruz. I am not sure why they are letting Cruz speak at the convention.
“Sen. Ted Cruz praises Pence, but isn’t yet sold on Trump endorsement.” “Cruz insisted that in a fair race, he would have beaten Trump.”
“[Trump would] lose state after state after state and the media would say that he can’t be beaten ... and the media liked to paint me as some whacked-out theocrat”, Cruz explained.
“In the 30 days before In primary, Trump got $500 million In free media, 90 percent was positive”, he continued.
While Cruz indicated that he felt Fox News was unfairly behind Trump, he saved most of his ire for other media outlets, saying they are in the bag for Clinton and that her rival, Vermont Sen. “I think numerous mainstream media players are liberal Democrats...they intend to vote for Hillary”. Cruz discussed his appearance at the upcoming Republican National Convention with Politico, stating, “I don’t know that I’m in a position to give campaign advice to Donald Trump”, said Cruz. They believed Donald was the easiest candidate for Hillary to beat. “We saw the media as decision-makers in primaries in a way that we have never seen before”.
“I think very highly of Pence - he’s a good man”, Cruz told Politico, according to an excerpt of an interview that will be posted Monday morning”.
“I think the media’s going to have to assess the role they played”.
DefecaTED
Yeah that would be the smart thing.
But something tells me he’s going to screw Rover on national TV.
LOL!
In four years, Cruz will still be constitutionally ineligible to be president. I hope people will fnally get that through their f@?king skulls.
It was only Trump. There is no if. The question can be asked but it’s nonsensical. It is Trump all the way down.
Y’know, I’m a bit of a showman, and I’d advise Ted to set aside all the crap and use his time to tell the stories and show the videos we’ve all seen of Donald Trump doing good works over the past 50 years, then give Trump that “full-throated endorsement.”
THAT would SHOCK THE WORRRRRLD and enrich Ted with goodwill that would serve him all the way through his political future. Babies would laugh, open wounds mysteriously heal, Kanye make sense for a minute. Dogs and cats! Living together!
But I do not expect this to happen.
GO TRUMP! THE GREAT UNIFIER!
Now if he could just get everyone else to Shut up already.
Pull. His. Slot.
Cruz. CRUZ? We’re nominating the next POTUS and some are still yapping about cruzer the looser. Lord have mercy!!!
BIG disappointment.
