Ted Cruz is expected to use his speech Wednesday night in Cleveland to tee up a future presidential bid..
Mr. Cruz blamed his defeat principally on the media, which liked to paint me as some whacked-out theocrat and putatively gave Donald Trump $3 billion in free publicity...
Fact check: Mr. Cruz won the Wisconsin primary in early April with the help of the so-called establishment that he loves to hate... in the preceding primaries, Mr. Cruz had gone one for 10..
After winning Wisconsin, Mr. Cruz went on a six-state losing streak in the Northeast...

Ah yes...the anchor baby.
That was Sen. Abraham Ribicoff from Connecticut.
Daley later claimed he called Ribicoff a “faker” but it looked like he called him something else.
Just GTFO Ted! Nobody wants you now..not even the worthless GOPee!
“Ted Cruz is expected to use his speech Wednesday night in Cleveland to tee up a future presidential bid.”
I find this hard to believe. I watched the convention this evening and that’s a pretty vocal crowd. They’d boo Cruz off the stage if he tries to pull something like that, and being booed off the GOP convention stage would be political death for him. I can’t believe he’d be stupid enough to do something that would risk such boos.
My guess is that he’s going to give a ringing endorsement to Trump; anything less means his political career is over.
He’s slimy, creepy, and always comes off off putting.
He is certainly not a NBC, and he is probably an illegal alien.
No one!
The scariest thing is how that wacky road show didn't phase the true believer Cruzaholics even a little bit.
Hey Ted: How did that thing about strapping on the armor of God work out for you?
Paul “Eddie Munster” Ryan and the Wisconsin GOP political machine pulled out all of the stops for Cruz and handed him Wisonsin. They could not help him outside the state however.
Poor Cruz thought he was good enough to serve two masters at once, the GOPe and the Republican base, but he ended up falling down and taking a faceplant instead. Reminds me of when I tried to date two girls at the same time in college - a tragedy and a farce. Egg all over my face. I feel for you Ryan, you two-faced, worthless SOB.
I think he was an illegal alien until the 1986 amnesty, which allowed him to get the passport for his school trip.
Cruz has gone full Clinton.
What does that mean? It means he has told so many lies that if he said the sky is blue—everyone would have to go outside and verify for themselves.
I have a simple rule for myself—I never listen to pathological liars. If Ted Cruz is on the TV—the mute button is on in my house.
“I have a simple rule for myselfI never listen to pathological liars. If Ted Cruz is on the TVthe mute button is on in my house.”
With Cruz, early on, when I thought he might be a good VP for Trump, I had a difficult time listening to him because of his voice. It’s very wearing and “preachy.”
But once I saw him for who he really is, I wore out the mute button too.
> So, if Donald Trump wasnt running, who would people be supporting?
Had Trump not run, we’d all be crying into our beers the mantra “Go Yeb :(” with no discernible enthusiasm nor hope to beat the beast called the uniparty. The likely VP would have been Kasich. That was the plan. Bet on it. The Media was so very excited at the ‘historical’ prospect of ‘Bush/PotatoHead’ v ‘Clinton/Gorelike’ match up reduix. Of course, the press would have effectively castrated Yeb! by now, if that’s even possible to do to the man with no spine. In the end Bush would have received less votes than Romney in November.
Trump has awaken the #MonsterVote
Yuge!
You got me giggling uncontrollably again Salamander :).
Low-energy voters.
Boy, is Cruz delusional! He would have won in a fair fight? The only reason he won most of the states he won was dirty tricks. Cruz is a liar, plain and simple. His lies are more sophisticated in that they dwell in the territory of abstract considerations like ‘fairness’, but they’re lies just the same.
He actually accuses the media of pushing the narrative that Trump couldn’t be beaten? Is this clown serious? Most grassroots Trump supporters felt Trump would win, but we spent most of the primary season watching an obtuse media that predicted his demise every step of the way.
Good observation. You’re right.
