You are right, he will do nothing to stop it because he mistakenly believes it will enhance him. It is really strange that someone who is touted as being such a brilliant man can not see this. However, I have lived long enough and met enough people to realize that intelligence is really limited in scope, and when it comes to common sense, they are idiots in too many cases.
