The process probably takes a couple of weeks. Good to know, in case Hillary somehow cheats her way into office.
Wait, it looks like there is a link at your link.
Then late Friday afternoon, Breitbart.com published an article
"Eleanor was never a citizen of Canada, and she could not have been under the facts or the law. In short, she did not live in Canada long enough to be a Canadian citizen by the time Cruz was born in 1970: Canadian law required 5 years of permanent residence, and she moved to Canada in December 1967only 3 years before Senator Cruzs birth.
Darn it, it took 5 years to become a citizen.
Thanks for trying to prove your claim.
Cruz, being born in Canada, was a citizen at birth. Eleanor appears on voter a carefully multi-vetted voter registration list restricted to verified Canadian citizens. There is one condition that allows a person to nationalize in Canada in One Year. The condition could ***EASILY*** apply to Eleanor Cruz. Indeed, it is the ONLY realistic explanation for her name appearing on a list confined to Canadian citizens only.
Surely you know to what condition I refer.
And btw, it does you no credit to completely ignore Eleanor’s name being included in a list of Canadian citizens. You’re not even pretending to seek the truth. You’re merely grasping at straws to blindly support your Cruz thesis. Or if not, then do this. Cut and paste Breitbart’s explanation as to how Ted’s mother got registered as a Canadian citizen.
I’ll wait.
