The fact is, whoever wrote what they CLAIMED Melania said, got it wrong. I am rewatching it and yes, that bit is somewhat similar; however the words ARE different and they cut the sentence Melania said off in the middle, to make it look like what it wasn't.
Perhaps her accent threw off the jerk who started this, but more probably, it's an ANTI-TRUMP;/NEVERTRUMP moron.

This is the kind of crap that people are tired of and this attack by the media towards Melania may very well backfire on them. Melania was terrific. I don’t see what the big deal is, nopardons is right, First Lady speeches all have the same basic themes. The media is desperate because they know Melania was the star of the show tonight and they are just trying to tear her down. I don’t think in the long run, it will work.
He quoted the words that Melania said and then quoted MOOCH! Guess what? THE WORDS ARE NOT THE SAME AT ALL! Yes, somewhat similar, but NOT anywhere near the same at all!
So I heartily suggest that those who believe this nothingburger,to get a damned grip, stop posting propaganda, and listen to Melania's speech again, as you look at what MOOCH supposedly said 8 long years ago, which was just very old polspeak anyway!

I watch in a new browser window and size it down into one corner so that only the video shows and not the chat, and keep FR open so that I can scroll comments here.
We greatly enjoyed tonight’s speakers and are jazzed that there appears to be great unity at the convention, after all that initial NT hub bub. The concern trolls and sock puppets were wrong. This train is moving, and fast.
We also very much enjoyed all the commentators here on FR.
