Not a fan of open carry, which can be misconstrued as “brandishing” in the fog of war such as we are experiencing now. Open carry can be used as an excuse to create a situation where otherwise none would have existed.

Plus, in a terrorism situation, the shooter, guaranteed, will at first be carrying concealed while he observes the open carriers in order to take them out first.

Concealed carry always. Nobody needs to know who else has a gun. Everybody just assumes somebody **might** have a gun, thus agressors tend to be more circumspect.
If a situation develops, then is the time to reveal and deal.

Agree.
But I used to think carrying with a round in the chamber was bad practice, at least for me.

Fan or not, this is a matter of 2nd amendment rights being removed by the State. I just heard John Kasich denied the formal request, incidentally.
