What we Know Incirlik AFB had its power cut and government forces were surrounding early this morning #UNCONFIRMED reports of explosions now.
Base is actually a Turkish air base. Believe US has around 1k personnel stationed there. Airfield was used to refuel coup-involved helicopters last night. Incirlik will be a hotspot for that reason alone.
I wasn’t really criticizing you, FRIend. the wasteland known as twitter is just one of my least favorite things.

When I was in a Pershing firing battalion in Germany, we had realistic plans in case anyone, including the Bundeswehr, attempted to seize nuclear warheads. Warheads were carefully guarded and rigged for destruction at a moment's notice, and the local commanders, down to platoon commanders, had authority to destroy warheads rather than let them be compromised.
In Obama's Army, anything is possible. Maybe this is just a transfer of weapons from the blue team to the red team.

Reports of F16s flying over base. Do not know who’s planes, but since Turkish airspace is closed to US, they must be Turkish. We know the power was cut, troops on outside of base, Turkish officials think some coup sympathizers are there, might have refueled coup planes and Erdogan thinks the US was behind the coup. You can use your calculator to add all that up if you need the answer.

Incirlik Air Base - Turkey Just for everyone’s knowledge. There are no reports of any explosions on or near the installation. Let’s please not perpetuate this rumor any more.
What that means is the Turks are too gunning them. Must be some type of standoff. You do not cause sonic booms over a base to say hello.
