Unconfirmed ....
"Unconfirmed Reports Of Gunfire, Explosions Inside Incirlik Airbase - Local Sources"
Yeah, that caught my eye as well.
We have no control over what Turkish forces do at their base.
If the Turks there are coup supporters of course Erd could cause trouble by not allowing us to withdraw before he attacked.
But I doubt he, or his paymasters, want that kind of trouble.
How about this -
US serviceman murdered near Incirlik airbase, Turkey and US remain silent
Well it’s a NATO installation on a Turkish airbase. So maybe we can convince the Turks that the Danish were behind the coup ?
Is that Obama on the right,in hot pursuit?
Something that fits the narrative right now, Turkish forces attacked suspected coup supporters on the Turkish airbase. Explosions and gunfire are heard. Then NATO reports mo explosions on or near their installation. Note they did not state Turkish airbase.
mo = no

You don’t move hardened aircraft hangers. The nuclear weapons themselves are easily moveable.
When I was stationed in Turkey at least 5 guys were killed by the locals for one reason or another - no one said or did anything. So nothing new. Just feel sad for the guy - Turkey is a tough place to be stationed even if it is a the more secular area than I was.
Turkey must have moron officials just as we have...
How the hell are the US officials at the joint base suppose to tell which F-16s are government and which are rebel?
(I would refuse to refuel all F-16s with Turkish markings, but they didn't ask me).
Keep us posted on that, will you?
Incirlik is joint Turkish-US-NATO base.
The US military personnel there defending the US equipment and material better not ask for help...
So is this another reason for the fake coup? How convenient Turkey is now surrounding Incirlik air base, the LARGEST stash of our nukes in Europe!
Did Obama just give Erdogan/ Isis nukes?
Resembles him doesn’t it!
Resembles him doesn’t it!
From the link I posted above:
Incirlik Air Base is the largest nuclear weapons storage site in Europe with 25 underground vaults installed inside as many protective aircraft shelters (PAS) in 1998. Each vault can hold up to four bombs for a maximum total base capacity of 100 bombs. There were 90 B61 nuclear bombs in 2000, or 3-4 bombs per vault. This included 40 bombs earmarked for deliver by Turkish F-16 jets at Balikesir Air Base and Akinci Air Base. There are currently an estimated 50 bombs at the base, or an average of 2-3 bombs in each of the 21 vaults inside the new security perimeter.
So, presumably, the procedure would be to retrieve the bombs from their vault, attach them to the waiting F-16, tow the F-16 onto the runway, and it's off into the wild blue yonder. That is, if the whole place is not a smoldering crater by the time the order goes out.
Keeping nukes on that base is a truly hare-brained idea!
Obama is going to transfer them to Turkey. Getting the base overrun by loyalist Turkish forces is his plan. After a few weeks he will transfer the codes to Erdogan.
iChing spent some time at the base in Dyabakir (sp?) in eastern Turkey back in the 80s, and can fill you in, as he was Security at the time. Hope he see this.
