The Never Trump agitators have been defeated, but they say theyre not going away.
Republicans who failed to change party rules here this week and stop Donald Trump from winning the partys presidential nomination are threatening to cause chaos on the floor of the national convention next week. Bruised by the way party leaders handled debate on a series of proposed rule changes, leaders of anti-Trump groups vowed Friday to find ways to draw at least some political blood when the party meeting begins Monday.
The options are limited, and attempts to cause trouble at political conventions are usually quickly thwarted. But anti-Trump activists who spent weeks trying to play within the party structure now say they will do what Trump hates the most find a way to embarrass him.
If they thought they were going to have the nice, unified kumbaya show, they just completely guaranteed theyre not going to have it, said Kendal Unruh, a GOP delegate from Colorado who led an anti-Trump group.

Yup.
Every day I’m reminded how fortunate we are that JR kicked out the sorry asses of his followers.
Trump derangement syndrome
Should be added to the list of mental disorders
I cringe to think what these obsessives will do to embarrass Trump
Attacking his wife and family come to mind
Remember what they did to Melania in Utah the day before the primary
Which would be evil masquerading as righteousness
Cult mind hives do this
Stay strong Mr Trump
May the Lord shine his light around you and your family and protect you from all evil
This comment gets a Freeper “ like”
He is toast
If a couple of months on the national campaign stage could reveal so much about his true character, to Republicans who were hungry for a sincere message - then he will go down like Titanic if or when he ever gets a nomination and the democrat long knives come after him
He thinks he beat the National Enquirer
That story was shelved for future use if and when it becomes necessary
Among others
I believe that Pence supported Cruz for President, and TPP. Squishy on homosexuals. Said Trump was wrong to want to temporarily suspend Muslims entering USA.
Not thrilled with Pence.
Not my first choice either, but we have what we have.
PRAY. Remember, Gideon was hiding in a haystack before he became a leader.
BTTT. However, I must admit confusion, as I thought you were a poster in favor of tariffs and Pat Buchanan.
If so, you should like aspects of Trump pretty well.
Your sophomoric “How do you know...?” question was answered perfectly well with the rhetorical “How do I know anything?”. You either didn’t like the answer or couldn’t understand it.
BTTT (2)!

This is it, in a nutshell.
This is what Satan the Expert does, it’s how he operates.
That ringleader female from Colorado, Kendall Unruh (or whatever her last name is), ought to be forever banned from the Republican Party, and be doubly shamed, as she touts to teach “Government” classes at a Christian high school.
Shame on YOU, Ms. Kendall. What a puffed up POW (piece of work)!
As Pence gets to spend more time with DJT, he will find himself schooled on immigration, TPP, etc., and learn much from the Boss. This experience will shape his political future.
Ms. Kendal needs to be continually shamed and mocked, along with her idol, Cruz.
Thanks for all of your contributions, Kent.
You could not be more mistaken. Trump and Pence have not even made their formal announcement yet. It is IMPOSSIBLE to know at this point that Trump got no bounce. The polls that would indicate a bounce or lack thereof cannot be taken ahead of the formal announcement. Nor should I have to explain something this basic to anyone. It’s sad, embarrassing (for you) and pathetic that you couldn’t figure this out for yourself.
Agree—it certainly doesn’t seem Christian to me. Unruh and co are there to represent the voters. Instead, they are doing everything conceivable to help Hillary. If that’s not turning the Golden Rule on its head, I can’t imagine how else to describe it.
Wow—that post is a tour de force! You hit every point out of the ballpark. In the last analysis, I not only agree with your final observation, I believe it is the key:
“[They] would condemn all Americans to the hell of a Hillary presidency just so they could say I told you so.”
There really does seem to be a near pathological need on the part of some Cruz supporters to say, ‘I told you so.’ They’ve already started. If the least thing goes wrong for Trump, they swarm out of the woodwork with a, ‘We tried to warn you!’ chorus. If, to the utter devastation of America, Hillary were to win, the hardest-core Cruz supporters would type, ‘I told you so!’ until their fingers actually fell off their hands. It’s sad!
Nice Serenity / Firefly reference....
They will be so totally boo'ed and hooted at and shouted down and made paraiahs. Richly deserved.
I didn’t see Pence on Hannity (thanks for the report!) but I absolutely, positively think he was the right choice. The never-ending field day/attack-a-thon the Dems and MSM were salivating for, if Newt or Christie got the nod, failed to materialize. Their attacks on Pence will either ring hollow or actually backfire. Pence is the right addition to the team!
