Analyst on RT is stating that pro-military supporters are going to stay indoors so that they don’t clash. The military told everyone to stay indoors, so of course the only people on the streets at the moment will be anti-military and overstates their support.
Too much fog of war confusion. If the Erdogan forces succeeded in killing the coup command and control there must be total disarray, but it’ll be a mop up job from here on out.
This whole things stinks though. Either the planners were incompetent (maybe desperate) or this is all kabuki.

No. They are saying (opining mostly) that the issue is unsettled. CNN did come out and identify Turkish National Intelligence Service as the entity making the report that the coup has been put down.

And troops have pulled back from the major airport in Istanbul. If the military is this divided, the coup will fail, especially with Erdogan still at large and rallying his supporters.
Now is the time for the Kurds to strike.
These guys should’ve considered playing to win before they went on this suicide mission.

"MIT" is the acronym for The National Intelligence Organization (Turkish: Milli Istihbarat Teskilati, MIT). Wiki says that this outfit has very little military component.

Erdogan had or has dreams of the revival of the Caliphate and ISIS serves well to institute that then Erdogan expected that Turkiye the proper home of the Sultanate that protects the Caliphate would take over from ISIS with appropriate stranglings and other traditional methods of transfer.
