Israel should have kept that barrier.
That land they gave up some time ago disappointed me greatly..
But I am not one of 6 million people (less than NYC) that has a billion people either wanting to kill them or (let’s be honest) wanting to see them killed.
We lie if we think Europe has changed THAT much since WWII in their attitudes towards Jews.
Except England, I would assume, since they had a major role in helping Israel get its land back.

The UK seems, under the surface, very antisemitic both culturally and historically. The Brits hightailed it out of British Mandate Palestine in 1948 knowing, for sure, that the Arab rabble (now respectfully termed, Plaeostinian”) would swamp them into Holocaust Part II. The Brits handed over certain areas to the Jews and certain areas to the Arabs letting the two sides decide, who would survive. Surprise! The Jews won totally outgunned, out manned and out resourced...does the UK today regret the creation of Israel in the same way the UN does?
