The campaign has said a decision has not been made. The media is saying that it is Pence. I have a few concerns about Pence and thought I would voice them because, according to the campaign, they said Trump still has to make a decision.
These are two tweets already dug up by the press on Pence:
Governor Mike Pence Verified account @GovPenceIN
Trade means jobs, but trade also means security. The time has come for all of us to urge the swift adoption of the Trans Pacific Partnership
And:

Calls to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. are offensive and unconstitutional.
The other day he gave an interview and was asked about Trump's wall. He refused to say directly he was for the wall; he just said he is for Trump:

Per InfoWars:
While Trump has promised to build a wall, Pence has been savaged by respected conservatives like Pat Buchanan and Phyllis Schlafly for advocating stealth amnesty in the form of a guest worker program.
While Trump has campaigned against job-killing foreign trade deals, Pence vehemently supports NAFTA, CAFTA, and the TPP.
Pence voted for the Iraq war and opposed a withdrawal date even after it became apparent that U.S. involvement in the country was a disastrous policy.

CNN said last night that it was down to Christie and Pence. Trump's gut was giving ups Christie, and his family, Manafort, and supposedly establishment conservatives like Paul Ryan wanted Pence.
Trump is the man who has to work with this guy every single day. Christie and he have done so throughout the campaign. Christie bucked the establishment and endorsed him early, has been 100% loyal, has never said a bad word to the media, and he has supported Trump's campaign to the detriment of his NJ poll numbers. He also would do well in the debate and be Trump's attack dog. You might get from this that I'm a big Christie fan. I'm not. I just think that if these are our two options and if Trump's gut was telling him that, maybe that's where he should have gone.
I will support Trump regardless of who he puts on the ticket. Bottom line. My concerns are merely that Trump's VP stands firmly behind him, doesn't criticize him to the media, and agrees with Trump on policies.
Here is Don Jr. to Katy Tur today when asked about Pence and Muslim Ban. Don Jr. concedes they don’t agree:

You aren’t the first to say this about Christie and the second amendment. I haven’t followed him closely at all minus the hug seen round the world this election cycle. What did Christie do that makes people doubt him on 2nd Amendment?
And that will be true of anyone he picks. When trump first proposed the wall and suspension only voters agreed with him
Hillary is going to slam trump with tons of ads. Already has. So did GOPe. Didn’t hurt him at all
Trump will be trump. That will be good enough
And that’s fine..... Trump knows what he wants to do. He has to sell it LBJ and JFK didn’t agree on anything. Many presidents don’t have foljs who agree with them
I'm wondering if that's the real reason he chose him. With so many great choices, why in the world would he pick Pence!!! I'm very disappointed.
Heard Donald and Pence will be doing several interviews together this weekend. Would like to hear the reasons behind his choice.
Just damn. I hope you sent to Trump.
I didn’t send to Trump, but I imagine Trump had to know this. His team had to vet him. Don Jr. conceded that they didn’t agree on Muslim ban. I still think Trump should have chosen Christie if it was down to those two. Christie would have been attack dog for him. It’s too late. Press has confirmed and Pence is in NY waiting for the announcement tomorrow.
Yeah, I’m not pleased with the pick. My father supported Cruz and doesn’t particularly like Trump (he’s voting for him), but he thinks the pick was a mistake as well. He also said Trump needs someone to fight for him be it Gingrich or Christie.
My concern is that CNN said Manafort encouraged him to pick Pence and thought he could unite establishment GOP members are weary. They mentioned Paul Ryan likes the pick which really makes me uneasy.
Well, now that Trump has postponed the announcement because of the horrible moslem terrroist attack in France, maybe he’ll re-think and choose a VP that understands the need for a ban on moslems.
The issue isn’t mere dissent; these are some pretty big differences when you get to TPP (Trump has run on a platform criticizing that), Iraq (Trump has criticized Hillary for voting for it), the Muslim ban (something Trump has advocated although seemed to reform recently), and immigration/the wall (Trump’s signature position).
Yeah, but you have to remember that if something happens to Trump, Pence will be making policies.
The President will be President unless something happens to Trump. Then you will have Pence policies.
Erika D. Smith of the Sacramento Bee hates him. That is an endorsement in my book. Still think Gingrich might be better.
