I hope that Pence is loyal to Trump, supportive of Trump, and doesn’t criticize him publicly. Gingrich, I would be afraid, could have done that, although he also would have been a big fighter. Christie we know has been and is those things (despite the fact he isn’t the most popular here). My concerns with Pence are that but also that he caved on Religious Freedom Act and how he’ll debate. The bottom line, though, is that Trump needs someone who will stand by him, and Trump feels Pence will do it. I hope Pence lives up to those expectations because Trump clearly struggled because he wanted to make the best decision. He’s put his trust in Pence, and I hope Pence honors it.
Don’t forget, the Trump kids have a big influence.
