Breaking on Drudge
I don’t know what you mean by evangelicals having a problem with Trump, he’s had the evangelical vote since the beginning of his campaign, that’s how he won the entire South.
As for Mike Pence, I’m okay with his being the VP choice. Trump could have done a lot worse.
RNC meeting is being carried right now, live, on C-SPAN 3.

I just saw this comment from Pinkbell - not cheering at all.

We now have old Tweets from Pence where he criticized Trump on the Muslim ban and said he supports TPP. Also, Pence, in an interview the other day, refused to say if he agreed with the wall. He just kept saying he supports Trump. His flip flop on the Religious Freedom Bill concerns me as well.
CNN said Paul Ryan and establishment types liked Pence and wanted him to bring Pence on board so theyd feel better about campaign. Add this to my concerns over Pence debating, and I think Trump shouldve picked Christie because Christie clearly doesnt care about the establishment (its why he supported Trump), is loyal, and supports Trumps positions. CNN also said Trumps gut was calling for Christie, but his kids, Manafort, and others were encouraging him to pick Pence. I would have rather trusted Trumps gut.
But this one agrees with other things I have heard, hoosiermama:

The LGBT thing was NOT Pences fault. I spoke with people involved one on the Committe who wrote it. He recognized it was poorly written Their fault. He felt a member of the committee had an agenda. Haste makes waste
After Pence signed it they realized it would NOT hold up in court. If it went to SCOTUS it would become case law just like Row vs Wade. Therefore to keep it out of court Pence was left with no choice. He went to bat to keep it out of court knowing that another case with a more conservative SCOTUS would be in the future.
Certainly dont want another Row vs Wade on books. Guess you do!
Actually just the opposite. You are showing your adgenda Try finding out the truth before you post. Guess you want another Roe vs Wade ? Settled by the SCOTUS because the case was weak. What problem do you have waiting for a strong case before setting it up for the legal system. I see You want what you want right now!
Learn from mistakes don’t repeat them!
I sure as hell hope he does... we are already in a hole vote wise.
As Gov Mike Pence’s place on the ballot will be chosen by the Indiana GOP central committee, I think his stating that he’d remain in office for the remainder of his term was aimed at smoothing the waters for them as they make that choice. Once the choice is made, and on the ballot, he may change his opinion as to if he remains in office for the remainder of his term. But he certainly is not going to resign over the next couple days.
No one has heard of pence...
Exactly! Trump will be the President and the other guy will be, well VP.
Trump is not going to have anyone who upstages him in anyway! He’s never played it any other way!
Gag, even worse.
And how about this:

I think we kind of all suspected it would be Pence. He will be fine. Newt will get some plum administration job. Between now and Nov Newt will take up any attack dog slack that Pence creates. That’s what I expect to see.
Gov. Mike Pence is dropping his re-election bid in Indiana to become Donald Trumps running mate.

FYI info regarding your earlier comment
Wrong. My dad and his whole family are steel workers (Ohio). Most of them have never voted for a Republican, but they are solidly for Trump!
Actually, 103 is more detailed.
If true, ask Gingrich to be WH Chief of Staff..
+1
The true shocker would be Ted Cruz...
Donald Jr was on the short list, but removed himself from consideration. (he said with a straight face..)
