If I were Trump I would call for Brennan’s resignation at the end of my inaugural address.
I then would, in the next minute, secure his office and all his papers and computers and lock him out.
I would do the same for Lynch, Johnson, Ash Carter, and Koskinen.
I’m sure I’m forgetting somebody.
Like all the Federal Judges that Obama appointed? Remember the Clinton precedent of firing 150 of them in one day. Also all Dept heads should be asked ( Like many DA's do after being elected ) for letters of pending resignation and their resumes and get back to them in 90 days if they are in or out.
BTW, HR usually walks you out or they send a Corporate Guard to do so in a downsizing. IMHO team Trump will have to deputize or hire a lot of guards that 1st day either by the ones he ask to go, or those who self select too go.
they’ll likely start purging anything from their office in November, won’t be anything left to see in their office when Trump takes office.
Absolutely. But ... you wouldn’t want to telegraph your moves, so they should be treated as any employee fired for cause. Trump should arrive unannounced with an extra-large SS detail, go to their office and stand there while the SS take the person by the arm and escort them to another room where they can hand over any passwords, keys, and devices. After those have all been verified by their interim replacement, then continue to hold the person incommunicado while you move on to the next person. Their exit interviews will be hours long anyway.
After everyone has been secured and all security and access has been changed, they can be sent home with their box of personal items. Only then should candidates for permanent replacements be sent to the Senate for approval. Letting the Obama cronies stick around until the Senate confirms new people would be a mistake.
