Tappan Zee. That actually goes from Tarrytown to Nyack NY. It's about 10 miles north of NJ border.
They are building a new Tappan Zee bridge. I drive it frequently and the progress is amazing. Looks to be an impressive bridge when completed.

Sure, but that’s way too far north for a normal route into Manhattan when coming up from the south.
There is also the Verrazano but that is also not an optimal route into Manhattan especially if there is much traffic.
