The family of Philando Castile has shared a copy of his permit to carry letter with Fox 9. The permit was issued by Hennepin County on June 4, 2015.

It would be interesting to compare the same posters’ attitudes about scofflaw Castile to their attitudes about members of biker gangs, er, “clubs.”
Prove that I’m wrong, why don’t you? You can’t. The facts available to us are laid out numerous times for you already, yet you howl to convict Yenez based on nothing more than mere allegations from a criminal convict who keeps changing her story.
What is it about due process that you fail to understand?
Send me an honest person, in place of your dishonest b.s.
You falsely mischaracterize my position. And you know it. And you know exactly how. Nowhere have I EVER depicted what happened as you so dishonestly twisted it. GTFO
You falsely mischaracterize my position.

I’m sorry you believe that way. I have gone back and re-read all your posts and my responses to them, I do not believe I have what you said wrong. Perhaps you don’t mean what you say but what you said is in writing. You should perhaps re-read and re-evaluate.
From my reading of your words you have assumed that the cop killed a criminal, a criminal that you believe was reaching for his gun after robbing a store to keep from getting caught, that is at least your implication.
It is me who says we don’t know and in this country when we don’t know we have a presumption of innocence not guilt as you have ascribed.
I said you WILL be proved wrong. And you seem oblivious to all evidence that shows this guy and his baby mama were not quite the cub scouts you imagine them to be.
I’m amazed that people who have no use for cops suddenly do not care that someone drives without a license or insurance or is caught with dope in the car.
Your previous comment alleged that my position is Castile deserved to die due to matching the BOLO for the armed robber. I HAVE SAID NO SUCH THING. Now, being called on your b.s., you’re suddenly pretending to have been reflecting my actual position. This crap is getting very tiresome.
I strongly suggest you apply the presumption of innocence, that you sanctimoniously just brought up, to officer Yenez, unless and until you have solid evidence against him. You do not.
I’m ambivalent about this one but your notion that being a drug user hence criminal somehow justifies his being shot is ridiculous
He liked to smoke a little weed too, again BFD
Not his baby mama. You don’t know much about the case so no point trying to discuss it with you.
WHERE THE HELL DID I EVER SAY THAT?? Some idiot said he wasn’t a criminal, and I provided rebuttal of that stand-alone b.s. based on his chronic, flagrant misdemeanor flouting of public safety and drug laws. Jeeeeez you people are intellectually derelict.
Utter misrepresentation of his chronic & total disregard for licensing, insurance, registration, public safety while driving over many years. Upwards of 70 or so often serious violations in multiple jurisdictions. Not directly related to what happened, but get the facts right in your posts.
His dope smoking baby mama?
I know everything about this case, my dear. You have a shut mind. I wonder what the real Sarah thinks. I have my suspicions.
Then you would know Castile had no children and no felonies. Let the judicial system play out.
I’m talking about the little lady at his side. The one most of you guys thought was driving the car...originally.
Why was he not arrested for all of these? As someone who drives in New York City and northern/central New Jersey and not the back roads of a rural retreat, I am VERY concerned about proper licensing, insurance and good driving skills. Driving where I am is a crap shoot each and every day. Does anybody but me drive the horrendous New Jersey Turnpike? Believe me, if you did, you’d get pretty law-and-order about our driving laws.
The child wasn’t his. And they weren’t engaged according to his mother.
She is not his baby mama. Child is from an entirely different convict thug, a black illegal alien from Guyana. I have his dossier too.
I don't think so. I've read his whole "arrest record" and see nothing to earmark him a criminal. Was he an irresponsible pothead, yes, but IMO basically an honest working guy.
But most of today's cops don't care, they've become obsessed with two things: revenue generation and Officer safety. It's when a cop puts his safety above yours, some poor bastard gets shot and killed for no reason.
Let me predict something. If the drug laws don't change, if the police don't lighten up, we've only seen the tip of the iceberg in terms of violence. I'm not advocating it one bit, but I do predict it.
Give me break, he was REPEATEDLY found, over and over and over and over again, to be driving under revocation, just to mention one category of violation among many. He NEVER seemed to be in compliance with the basic rules of the road/society, in one incident he refused to exit the vehicle per order of police, and his Facebook has numerous posts glorifying his Crips membership. Sorry, no sale. As stated ad nauseum, we do not know exactly what happened on the evening in question, and/or whether he was in fact the armed robber sought or not, but for you and others here to repeat the #BLM line a la Saint Trayvon and gentle giant Michael Brown is just utter b.s., he was a scofflaw druggie and Crip wannabe at the minimum.
It's your attitude, you won't accept you are wrong and unfortunately with that attitude things can only get worse.
Deal with it
