Having taken, just last month, the Merritt Parkway to New Canaan,Darien and Greenwich it boggles my mind to imagine such a thing.
“GE recently moved from CT to MA.Ouch! “
Yup, moved to Boston area after 100 years in CT.
They cited “high state tax rates” as one of the main reasons for leaving.
Malloy can be on Hillary’s panel of economic advisors.
Today I bought 7 bananas for 1.09 euros.
And Connecticut did not even have an income tax until 1992!
AND it was sold to the state as “temporary” — what a joke!
thanks dj
And is the public up in arms, politically? Generally not.
I see no indications any new conservatives will defeat DEMS to pick up seats in the state House.
DEMs usually hold their numbers in presidential years.
don’t let your state become like CT, wherever you live.
This state sucks; don’t even get me started!
You don’t know where I live ? It’s on my page. The GOP has a supermajority as the Democrats imploded in my state on Zero’s watch. They exist only in two kinds of districts: Black and urban White moonbat. I have the good fortune (*cough*) in being in one of each (Black VRA Senate and White moonbat House seats).
yea
I guess I was directing that at the readers ... not the grand poobah of election information.
yea. TN has resisted the income tax. where CT failed
hope for America
Mookie Betts was born in Brentwood
Here in a wealthy suburb of Hartford County. The insurance industry is shrinking rapidly here. Innumerable for sale signs everywhere.
The 2013 gun restriction laws passed were primarily targeting BUSINESSES and the BUSINESS of selling and buying guns and ammo within the state.
AS a CT resident you can legally keep and bear ammo and firearms if they are purchased from another state. No registration except for above 10-round magazines, the list of scary semi-autos and handguns.
The CT government sliced it’s own throat by going after sales which gave them millions in sales tax income.
