President Obama and former President George W. Bush spoke Tuesday at a funeral service for the five slain Dallas police officers.
There were many powerful moments throughout the service, but there is one moment that has been turning heads -- President Bush's dance moves during "Battle Hymn of the Republic."
The former president swayed and marched in place. Michelle Obama, who was standing to Bush's left and holding hands with him, appeared surprised at first and then smiled.

I suppose this was his (clumsy) attempt at outreach. What does the “black media” say about this Bush jig?
Say it ain’t so, Sam!
What was he doing? I thought it was inappropriate no matter what one thinks of him. He had to have been drunk.
The elites live in a giant bubble of unreality. Ever since GWB left office, he has been TOTALLY silent about what the radical left has been doing to this country. Not a pretty sight.
He LOOKED like someone who has gone back to the sauce!
And why would a 70 year old guy suddenly dye his hair brown?
Hey!
Me white-folk don’t really want to dance...or jump...or dunk.
He really got into the swing of things and trying to celebrate these guys lives
... Think W was trying to lighten things up. After listening to O’s speech, one would need an antidote to purge O’s diatribe out of one’s mind, don’t ya think?
That’s because he and Laura’s true lefty sides have been set free and the msm was covering to help Jeb.
W’s dancing was an embarrassment.
Beautifully performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir - we sang that song in grade school, along with many other patriotic tunes - many with God mentioned in the lyrics. Imagine a teacher doing that nowadays - probably be arrested, fired for sure.
it looks like Laura is trying to stop his hand pumping
(did not work)
he has this stupid grin- (like who cares! there’s music)
and brother Jeb actually garnered a few votes??
let this family play on their speed boats and hunt on their ranches- they have made their millions - us peons
will just have to suck it up
We were pleasantly surprised at the granddaughter’s “graduation” from Pre-Kindergarten recently, the 5 year olds all sang “Proud to be an American” (Lee Greenwood). Of course, that had me weeping. A private day care/preschool.
... One time I attended a funeral and the next day or so the song “Come to the garden alone” just kept playing and playing in my head and giving me ebbing and flowing waves of depression. SO, this is what I did for an antidote — got out old LP of Segar singing “Old Time Rocking Roll,” played it really loudly several times and bingo that funeral song was gone from my brain. Maybe that’s what W was doing.
Now I wonder if I can hold down my lunch.....help LORD.
Don’t bet anything you can’t afford to lose, on that ever happening.
He was totally silent IN office, for 8 years.
I couldn't get the original poster's link to load, so I checked YouTube. The video is there. Like you, I saw no dance moves, just swaying.
W seemed a bit too happy there, seeing it was a memorial service, but overall no big deal.
Drugs. Lots of drugs.
“Dancing? at a funeral??? really? sigh...”
Dancing on the graves of cops. Appears W has “fallen off the wagon”.
