Homestead, PA. A group of policemen, eating at a Homestead restaurant, paid a couple's bill after the couple made it obvious they didn't want to sit by the officers on Saturday.
"A table goes to sit down and the guy looks over at one of the police officers and was like, 'Nah I dont want to sit here.' So they got moved completely opposite, away from the police officers," said Eat N' Park server Jesse Meyers.
Homestead police Officer Chuck Thomas said it was obvious the man and woman didn't want to anything to do with the police officers.
"I looked over and said, 'It's OK sir. You won't have to worry about it, we won't hurt you," Thomas said. "He looked at me hard again and said hes not sitting here and walked away."
Thomas said he and another officer thought they should pay the couple's bill and asked Meyers to bring the check.
"Essentially the whole goal of it was to let him know that were not here to hurt you, were not here for that," Thomas said. "Were here for you. We work for the public. And we just want to better the relationship between the community and the police."

It could also have been fear of sitting near the target of feral terrorists.
I wouldn’t have paid——sorry for being so mean.
.
Me either.
Nice gesture gents, but you wasted your money.
People fall on a range of numbers 0-10. 9 and 10 love you unconditionally, 0 and 1 will always hate you, and nothing you do will make them change.
BLM is a perfect example of 0s and 1s.
Whoops. I just posted this. You beat me by a few minutes. I’ll request that mine be pulled.
As for the story, there’s no shortage of A holes in this country.
Afraid they might recognize him from his wanted poster?.........
Wait till the rule of law fails and anarchy starts...watch who runs to the law enforcement officers.
Although a nice gesture by the officers, it seems unlikely to work for a whole bunch of reasons.
EatnPark is a nice basic restaurant, with a salad bar and inexpensive good food. Nice employees
I’m surprised the employees didn’t invite the couple take the spot out in the parking lot, if they didn’t want to eat near police officers.
I have mixed feelings myself. I wouldn’t be inclined to reward churlish behavior. The officers hearts were in the right place and I would hope it had some impact on the recipients. But if not, may be the story itself will.
It is summer. It is hot. They are libtards. The aroma was probably pretty nauseating. I am sure the officers were truly glad the moved far away. So glad, they paid their bill. I understand it. I would not be able to enjoy a nice meal in the proximity of the noxious vapors a ripe libtard emanates.
With police being targets these days in Minnesota, New York and Dallas, maybe they were afraid to be too close. That’s the only justification I could see.
Probably had warrants.
So true! And as one gets older, it makes sense to devote all your time and energy to the 9 and 10s.

I’ll be darned-—I haven’t seen a salad bar in quite a few years.
I refused to use them————(long story).
.
Absolutely, if only for sanity’s sake.
Lol. I even did the search too, and saw that nobody had posted.
Lol- probably!
