It’s a rapidly gentrifying area, with some very attractive neighborhoods that have become real bright spots. But it’s the kind of area that can change dramatically from block to block. It was a mistake in judgment to be out alone, on foot, at that hour. And bad luck. Bad guys have mostly returned to their coffins by 4:00 a.m., to sleep through the day.

This is sad and a tragedy. But its also a tragedy for people like Kathleen Steinle’s family when she is murdered in their presence by an illegal alien protected by a “sanctuary city”. The Democratic party for whom this decedent worked and tried to expand voters so they can get an iron grip on this country last week blocked Senate passage of a bill to withhold some funding from cities like San Francisco that act illegally as “sanctuary cities” for such felons. It will be interesting to see the background of the killers who committed this terrible act.
