Gov. John Bel Edwards on Sunday (July 10) warned protesters that police are on high alert for anyone breaking laws such as blocking roadways, and expressed concern that outsiders have changed the tone of the protests.
Even so, Edwards praised protesters for keeping demonstrations largely peaceful and without major property damage. He called the police response so far "moderate," saying that he is "very proud of that."

Sounds like a thrown gauntlet to me. Dare the bm’rs, I mean blm’rs to not start something. Oh, I forgot their latest meme, ‘don’t judge a whole group by tha actions of one, or a few, lone wolves’. Somethin’ like that.
No the best thing is to learn from events, look in the mirror and make sure you are not stuck on stupid. There is no need for any protests by blacks as a result of a few black thugs getting shot resisting arrest while going for their guns.
Good that he is serious because the BLM are going to try his resolve. Honey badge attitude, rabbit brains.
Same guy who undid the work that Jindal did on reforms for that state? Sure. Yeah riiiight!

Louisiana is a law and order state. It does have the highest per capita incarceration rate in the country.
Anybody who undoes what Jindal did to this state can’t be all bad.
And that's just the politicians.
The media is managing to get its misrepresentations believed, is one of the main issues. I just saw an example of this from a dear friend on Facebook. Passing on a screed of Christian social justice warrior recommendations — based on an account that isn’t even plausibly true.
I am trying to cut past that B.S. in other media.
Funny but hey, at least they are doing something about the corrupt politicians.
