Could you PLEASE stop with the childish name calling? This woman is speaking from the heart and thanking the officers. She is exactly who needs to continue speaking up so that we can have some serious dialog about real problems...and being called names is just going to push her away from being part of the solution!

She has five black sons - her voice needs to be heard. Can you imagine what an impact they could have if they started speaking positively about the police to their friends and family?

I welcome honest conversations with ANYONE who wants to find common ground and stop the irrational hatred and division that is killing far too many people!

Can't disagree with that. This is not a simple binary issue.

I support the cops, they have a tough and generally thankless job. They rarely get any positive recognition for keeping our streets and cities out of the sewer.

Given all that, there are bound to be some events that show excessive force was applied although, IMO very few of those are done with malice or racism at their core. They are mostly related to a scared guy with a gun that wants to go home at the end of their shift.

Twenty-twenty hindsight does not make something like that a crime so much as an unfortunate incident. Prosecutors and politicians have shown themselves to be more part of the problem by seeking publicity at the expense of supporting their own police agencies making them vulnerable to events like the assassinations of police in Dallas.

Of course, you’re right. Most people agree with you.

Well said.

Personally, I think the solution is quite simple. We don’t need nationalization of police or any of that garbage.

We need every police officer that interacts with the public to be required to wear body cams.

It will protect people from abuse, and it will protect the police from out of context phone videos.

Trump...please suggest the Feds fund this. It will solve a problem that people care about.

I was so moved by her tearful thanks to the police and her shock and sorrow for their loss of life. There she was apparently a black, single mother of five sons. She sat them down and told them about the videos killings of the two blacks they had all seen and that shocked all of us.

She explained to them about the march and that it was going to be peaceful, and how excited her boys were to take part in something that was historic for them. She had a wonderful attitude, even if she had been subject to nothing but black media propaganda.

What happened as she was heading out early to beat the traffic truly broke her heart.

It broke mine just hearing her break down, speaking of the wonderful police, seeing one police man shot down in front of her and thanking God for the policeman who threw his body on top of her and her son as more fire discharged all around them.

She was the finest speaker of anyone on what happened in the eyes of those protesters.

"...This woman is speaking from the heart ...

Even ignorant dullards "speak from the heart".We used to call speaking from the heart "Using emotion and feelings in place of logic and facts".

I do not respect her for taking part in a racial protest that is ultimately motivated by hatred and resentment.
