President Obama cautioned Black Lives Matter activists against going too far, saying that attacks on police and overheated, irrational rhetoric undermine their cause.
"Whenever those of us who are concerned about failures of the criminal justice system attack police, you are doing a disservice to the cause," Obama said in remarks to reporters in Spain, where he is traveling. "Any violence directed at police officers is a reprehensible crime and needs to be prosecuted," he said.
Even rhetorically, if we paint police with a broad brush, or "say things that are stupid or imprudent," it risks losing ground for the reform cause, Obama said.

Obama calls the shots, lynch gives the orders and provides the arrest/prosecution protection for the group. I bet the PD holding the poor misunderstood deray phone lines were ringing in with ms lynchs justus dept orders for his release early this AM.
Since everything they say is stupid stuff does that mean he’s asking them to take a vow of silence?

How about praise the Lord for the blessings of even what we so proudly call common sense?
I agree with you; it’s just that Obama has painted cops and the justice system so often with so broad a brush that this statement is just full of irony.
And I mean... maybe God has seen that we became presumptuous. We assumed that we deserved competent leadership. We thought that we merited no less. We were highly indignant when what we thought was our merit met with no reward.
God, however, has always known that we can merit zilch. We can only be hopeful askers and grateful recipients of His blessings.
