Sources tell NEWS 8 that Dallas Police Headquarters is under a lockdown Saturday afternoon due to a threat that is being 'taken seriously' by police.
The lockdown was put into place shortly after 4 p.m. DPD SWAT has been deployed to headquarters, sources say.

Chief of police has asked news stations to not show or reveal SWAT locations.
Female reporter said officers she knew were carrying weapons on their laps in their cars, so as to be prepared.

Threat (Dallas) Dallas PD and other agencies in the Dallas area have been notified of a serious threat against law enforcement. There will be heavy police presence at Dallas Police HQ and law enforcement will be on high alert.

No. But given his Texas history you would think he would work behind the scenes to put the hammer down. Hard to believe he would stand by and allow the DPD be threatened with harassment and death.
The Bush family could put a stop to it if they so desired.

Reports of shots fired are inaccurate. The police source did tell the news lady that there was a man on the roof of the police parking garage, which seems to be where SWAT is focusing their attention.
