Sources tell NEWS 8 that Dallas Police Headquarters is under a lockdown Saturday afternoon due to a threat that is being 'taken seriously' by police.
The lockdown was put into place shortly after 4 p.m. DPD SWAT has been deployed to headquarters, sources say.

WFAA female reporter says she did not hear any shooting, but did see SWAT storm out toward the back of the police building.
She says she has never been so scared, generally, as event unfold in the area.
Everyone in holding pattern it seems. Reporter having to fill lots of air time until something happens or more info.
