How do you know that he WAS?
Non-Negros are far more likely than Negroes to misidentify a Negro. Remember the Amadou Diallo flap?
People keep posting as if they know for a fact what happened, and that Castile was not one if the robbers, didn’t try to draw on the cop....
You make as if you hate murderers but you want to nuke Mecca already, which isn’t going to do a thing to Islam (they would theologize around it).
I didn’t say that I knew he was. You act as if you have reason to say he wasn’t.
How do you know how I’m acting? You ass-u-me.
Of course it concludes that. Did the article state they determined he was indeed the robbery suspect they were looking for? Or just a passerby who possibly fit a description?
Begs the question Ching, if this guy was a robbery suspect why did they just walk up and ask him for ID, and not conduct a felony traffic stop?
Take your time Ching.
I heard that he had held the same job for 13 years at a Montessori school and passed all the necessary background checks for a Minnesota CCW permit and that he had a few minor run ins with law of some kind. He doesn’t sound like a gangster to me.
And Minnesota maintains some kind of list of known gang members. If you are on the list, you don’t get a permit.
God may only know, at this point.
Was he a wannabe, was the material alleged to be posted by him even posted by him, there is a mystery here. With so many factions hoping for different versions of the story, there may be no authoritative account soon.
It sure looks a lot, though, like at the time both he and his honey were drugged.
This seems like an unwholesome smear upon the victim that the original author should retract in shame.
I agree, wholesome smears are far better (duck’n & runn’n).
I’m not all that surprised at the ambiguity and debate. Something (supernaturally) wicked has this way come. When you have demons in the mix, things can literally get as confused as hell.
Oh? How's that?
He drove without a license. He drove without insurance.
He had drugs in the car.
79 charges?
Somehow the bar has been lowered for upstanding Citizen.

Now wait a minute: was he an actual armed robbery suspect, or did he simply match the description of some armed robbery suspect?
There's a yuuuuuge difference...
That has zero to do with this shooting. No?
But it didn't happen here. ☺
Nobody has given us more than scraps of the story, which makes it so maddening. Because it’s almost like an ink blot test. Whaddya wanna see? It’s there if you look hard enough....
Maybe only AFTER they saw Philando, stopped for some other reason, did they believe that he was suspicious in that manner, which would mean that they had heard the news about the crime and learned the description of associated suspects, in some other fashion.
But again identifications in such encounters are known to sometimes be wildly erroneous. Like in the Amadou Diallo shooting, which felled a fellow with a melon shaped head when the actual suspect had an inverted pear shaped head.
And that is what I was attempting to explain to some folks here who think they know what they’re talking about, but clearly don’t.
The hyper calm way SHE reacted, or claimed to, and his showing a gun to an officer like it was a matter of no great import. Not the only possibility, but rhymes as well as anything else.
