FBI Director James Comey said Thursday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton may not have been "sophisticated enough" to understand the classified markings on emails she sent and received, which explains why did didn't know she was breaking the letter of the law.
Under intense questioning from Republicans, Mr. Comey said Mrs. Clinton’s public explanations of her behavior were not true. But he said his investigators couldn’t find evidence that Mrs. Clinton intended to break the law, which he said is the key to making a criminal case.

Democrats praised Mr. Comey for his findings, and blasted the GOP for demanding he testify in the first place.

OK, fine. Let's accept Comey's premise at face value. If Hillary did not intend to break the law, the only alternative explanation is that she simply isn't intelligent enough to understand the law. Stupidity (or, as Comey put it, lack of mental sophistication) should disqualify her from the Presidency even more than if she were just your run of the mill lying crook.

It is sort of true. In a way, the President is elected a security clearance.
However...there are still laws to be enforced, and Bill Clinton had his suspended for a while because he kept leaking stuff, while he was President.
And that’s the other side of it. Collectively, her correspondence quite sensitive information. Classifications above confidential are singular pieces of information which can cause damage.

What's worse is that the left is telegraphing their desire to start a nuclear holocaust all over the place (they are projecting the desire onto Trump). Hillary is stupid enough to give them their wish.
In the 1970s, I had a secret clearance, although the material I had access to at the time did not involve intelligence documents. As part of the process of obtaining access, I was shown mock-up examples of documents, with various classifications, to illustrate what I was, and was not, entitled to read.
Comey should just shut up.
Apparently, his great fear was that if he recommended prosecution it would tip the scales of the upcoming election.
Comey, neither party has even formally selected their candidate yet. If there were no such thing as “super delegates”, Bernie Sanders might be the lead donkey. And the GOPe has welched on its pledge to endorse whomever won their primary. So it’s still a coin toss without Hillary in the race.
I love how DC thinks the people are stupid and curb their rights and power at every turn. Yet a guy like Comey suddenly forgets who he is and thinks the decision of Hillary’s fate should rest in the hands of the people.
Hey, dummy! The Clintons have been pulling the wool over the people’s eyes for decades! She was in your hands and you let her go.
