Hillary as Sec of State was on the list of people authorized to determine what communications were classified.
Read that again...
That means she DID know what was and was not classified, with or without markings, it was her job to put those markings there.
Comey handed Trump a lot of ammo today. I hope he knows how to use it..
I watched the whole thing, except for about 20 minutes 3/4 of the way through when I dozed off. What can I say, I’m an old fart...
Republicans were going after Comey, Democrats were going after Republicans...their usual line, it’s a Republican witch hunt.
I was appalled and disgusted. Comey came across as someone who was trying to protect Hillary. I stopped trying to count how many times he said “I don’t know” after about a dozen, any time he had to answer anything that would make her look bad.
I especially liked the grillings he got from Chafetz and Gowdy, they were both out for blood. Especially the last one for each, Gowdy and Chaffetz both had him squirming toward the end. Especially when Gowdy said something about all those people they had both prosecuted who didn’t know they had broken the law.
Comey claiming Hillary was not sophisticated enough was pure baloney. She was one of the people authorized to put the markings she claimed didn’t exist, she knew classified when she saw it. The fact that it happened to be on a computer screen made no difference at all.
She knew what she was doing...and got away with it.
You get briefed on that stuff when you get a clearance.
Agreed, she wasn’t being careless she was being careful.

Yet the most so-called intelligent woman who has traveled the World with so much top level experience, including the Co-presidency, the Senate, and Secretary of State is NOT "technically sophisticated" enough to be aware of classified comms??? That's a lie on it's face. She had to sign a document regarding such. Of course, she can say that it was just one more document put in front of her by her staff. Sorry, doesn't wash. You sign something; you're responsible.
This is beyond the pale. Comey has either been threatened or bought off since his detailed statement of the laws that Hillary broke. Remember, it'a always about US Code 18, Section 793 regarding "gross negligence". There is NO excuse for ignorance of the law!
Now he's making excuses for her? This man's family must be in grave danger or this wouldn't happen. If it's not about his family and simply his career, he doesn't have the honor that so many have claimed.

Did any of the Republicans bring up this fact? I'm assuming if one is in the position to class documents they've had more than basic training in how to handle classified documents.
Comey wanted to prosecute Clinton for Stupidity but the DC folks haven’t put that law on the books yet... but soon there will be a new law called “If you are Stupid as Hilary”. Liberals are most likely to break that law soon after it is implemented.
He should resign if he has any sense of decency left. I doubt that. US REP HOUSE now needs to move to impeach him. Doubt that also.

No, she sure is not. Comey’s statement regarding her incompetence and her lies should make a great campaign ad - shown over and over again on TV and on mailers.
I thought he was handing perjury charge to Congress if they ask him to investigate whether she lied under oath, but if she is too stupid to know what she was doing was wrong, then she could not have perjured herself either because she believed her own lies! It’s just totally disgusting, all of it!!!!!
