Woman Facebook live-streams her dying boyfriend seconds after he is shot four times by a cop as his mother says police kept her from her son's deathbed and claims the girlfriend is now missing ===============================================
The devastated mother of a black man who was shot dead by a cop and whose death was live-streamed on Facebook by his girlfriend says she was prevented from seeing him on his deathbed.
Valerie Castile, mother of Philando Castile, 32, who was shot in Falcon Heights, Saint Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday night, also claimed they have been unable to locate Diamond Reynolds, his girlfriend, since she was arrested by police.
The shocking footage of the aftermath of the shooting has sparked protests in Saint Paul, with hundreds of people descending on the Governor of Minnesota's house demanding justice. It is the second controversial police shooting of a black man to emerge in 24 hours.
In the video, Reynolds tells viewers that she and Castile were pulled over for a busted tail light by a 'Chinese police officer'.
She claims the cop, from the St. Anthony Police Department in Falcon Heights, asked Castile, a cafeteria supervisor at a Montessori school in St Paul, to show his license, but then shot him four times while he reached for it.
As she talks, she moves the camera across to show Castile, bloody and losing consciousness, and the cop - still pointing his gun, as her young daughter sits in the back seat.
The police officer, who is yet to be identified, been placed on paid leave.

Not nearly as much as the cops have.
I can even remember when we didn't have to think of them as an enemy to be avoided.
“The black community is rightly outraged.”
Point of order: the whole community is rightly outraged. No one but those who delight in murder would give this a pass. I am sure you meant this but just want to point it out; whites care when black people get murdered, of course, too.
The front facing camera displays an image on the screen the is reversed, so it's like looking in a mirror rather than at a TV. Less disorienting that way.
Beats sitting there recording someone bleeding to death. I understand the concern about alarming the cop. However I would be demanding to administer first aid, (i.e. a tourniquet) instead of sitting there calmly narrating and filming his death.
me neither....
I suspect something else was going on here....
Thanks, waiting for a new graphic.
Because they could, probably.
Why?
Yes she was trying to keep the situation as calm as she good. I’ve done similar. She did just right, poor thing. What a travesty.
Now I say the above but did not cognize that the actual incident of the shooting was not on tape. I just realized from reading this thread that we are taking her word for it as to what happened. Hopefully there was a cop cam showing what led up to the shooting. My assumptions may be incorrect so, I’ll wait to see what really happened before and when the man was shot.
I figured the actual shooting was not shown on tv because it was too violent. Apparently there is not currently released record of what happened leading up to and during the shooting - just the aftermath. I had not realized that.
“I belive that prople should not be executed for having a broken taillight.”
Liar. That wasn’t the reason and you know it. The cop believed he was in mortal danger by a man who was armed, told him to keep his hands up, he didn’t, and was shot. By the way, the cop shot him in the arm. Most people don’t die from being shot in the arm. Must have hit an artery and he bled out. Doesn’t sound like the cop was aiming to kill, just to stop the guy’s arm and hand from going down where his gun might have been located.
You did hear the cop telling her not to move right?
Wow. That puts things into perspective. It would mean more if last night hadn’t happened in Dallas.
Yeah, it sure would.
...but at lease Hillary! skating is off the front page, eh?
I hear you. But, like news aggregators, news sources need money to keep the lights on, too.

Be careful about jumping to conclusions. Perhaps her agenda is suspect?
