I've only unfortunately only been able to watch a few minutes of this hearing, and can't stay long now. Rep. Hurd of Texas was outstanding! For some reason, I've never heard of him before. Anyone know if he is new to the House?

I agree that Rep Hurd was very good. This was his first term in Congress - I could be wrong but I seem to recall it was a fairly close race - I was routing for him from the Peoples’ Republic of WA.
