Apparently, (State Department spokesman John) Kirby based his statement on inciting and incorrect information he received from the Palestinian side because no outpost will be legalized under the new building plan and no settlement will be expanded outside existing zone plans. Furthermore, the announcement of the plan was, in fact, phase two in a long procedure that started in 2012 when a planning committee approved the proposal.
The accusation that there is “a systematic process of land seizures” is also based on false information. Most “settlement” building takes place within the existing boundaries of the Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria (the so-called West Bank). …

FYI. When my friend and I visited Israel, with a Steve and Janet Ray tour in 2011, we saw that Israel simply did NOT have enough bodies to do all the work required in a country.
SO, Jewish Israelis HAD to hire Arab Muslim Palestinian Israelis and Arab Catholic Israelis. The three groups HAD to work together.
They DID work together because they had a common country.
It WAS strange to have an Arab Catholic Israeli as our tour guide. I didn't think that they even existed. But they do and the situation DOES work because they all have ties there, family, friends, businesses and business "associates," that is, they work with ALL other Israelis, regardless of faith. The Arab Catholics are usually the "middle men" between Jewish and Muslim Israelis.
However, we do have media that have been historically virulently anti-Arab and their coverage on anything Arab is negative. I have NEVER heard ANY reports about Arab Catholics and didn't even know they existed until I went there and SAW them.
