Will do, and you’re very welcome! I think the best is to come.

I’m thinking that Trump can win this alone, but why not make things easier for himself. To make it easier, you pick a running mate whom you are comfortable with, not a stranger.

Having said that, the VP pick should be Newt or Christie. I can’t see him picking someone with whom he has not shared thoughts, ideas and conversation.

Christie is more of a Trump apprentice, while Newt is the elderly Consigliere.

I can live with either pick...but going with Newt.

Many think Newt has too much baggage (the picture with Nancy for example).

However, I could live with and even be excited about Newt also because I have noticed and admired his intelligence and articulate knowledge over the years. We need an intellect that can play offense and not defense with the machiavellian machinations of Hillary and her legions.

Newt would be prepared and more than able to forcefully get out in front of Hillary and keep her in defense mode.

This campaign cycle needs more than the “optics” pic - a “woman”, etc. unless the “optics” pick actually possesses the attack dog ability of a Christie, Newt or Guiliani as well as just “optics”.

Should be interesting indeed!! Of course my enthusiasm for Trump would not change no matter who he picks!

We will see. I do trust Trump’s judgment on this.

I believe Newt would tend to forget which one is president and which one is vice president. It wouldn’t be long before Trump would have to fire him.
