Many think Newt has too much baggage (the picture with Nancy for example).

However, I could live with and even be excited about Newt also because I have noticed and admired his intelligence and articulate knowledge over the years. We need an intellect that can play offense and not defense with the machiavellian machinations of Hillary and her legions.

Newt would be prepared and more than able to forcefully get out in front of Hillary and keep her in defense mode.

This campaign cycle needs more than the “optics” pic - a “woman”, etc. unless the “optics” pick actually possesses the attack dog ability of a Christie, Newt or Guiliani as well as just “optics”.

Should be interesting indeed!! Of course my enthusiasm for Trump would not change no matter who he picks!

We will see. I do trust Trump’s judgment on this.

Newt, like Trump, has been infront of the camera for years. He’s comfortable fielding questions, debating. We must have this debate about where we go.

On our side we talk about the goals...We give ideas on immigration, tax codes, and our choices for SCOTUS

Hillary does nothing. She spends 95% bashing Trump. It’s getting old. Give us your ideas. Give us the list of your SCOTUS so we can see it.

Newt can go before the hostile NAACP crowd, hostile latino and be comfortable. He can handle the press. Is he likable? Not really. A guy like Paul Lepage, I think you could grow to like... Newt? Maybe. I mean, it’s a mean world out there. Newt is an even keel.
