Donald Trump, speaking in North Carolina, just praised deposed Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein as a killer of terrorists, noting that Hussein “didn’t read them the rights” before executing them.
“Saddam Hussein was a bad guy, right? He was a bad guy. Really bad guy,” Trump begins. “But you know what he did well? He killed terrorists. He did that so good. They didn’t read them the rights, they didn’t talk. They were a terrorists - it was over. Today, Iraq is Harvard for terrorism.”
Hussein was labelled a major sponsor of terrorism by the American government for decades, a status that was a major plank in the rationale to invade Iraq in 2003.

Fact- much of the Middle East is a dunghill whose inhabitants have to be ruled with force and terror. Absent that, they degenerate into anarchy until the next king/dictator/sultan/caliph/colonial power appears.
Lies and political correctness have been the norm for so long... ya’ all have problems with the truth? Nothing wrong with speaking the truth and so say/repeat what he actually said... don’t remove the “he’s a bad guy... really bad person”... and then say the rest of it by itself ... don’t just hone in one part of it... look at all of what he says.
I get my dander up when they try to make him say what they think they heard him say... and they don’t get it right.

No argument. I am stumped by what/why he brings up some of these topics and his resultant comments othe than he’s fixated on terrorism to the detriment of the immediate focus of smashing The Beast.

He was getting better, more focused, more disciplined. He had some lousy spokespeople; the woman recently hired was a big improvement.
